Mt. St. Helens, Coldwater Creek stationWe had a nice side trip to see Mt. St. Helens. Unfortunately, the road was closed beyond this point, so we couldn't visit Johnson Ridge. Also the low clouds blocked the views, and the snow didn't help much. This was the coldest part of the trip, 38° Fahrenheit according to the LT display. Later we learned that we managed to miss heavy rainstorms and hailstorms on the way down. |
