The next day Brian and I headed out to visit his work, partly so I could see it and partly so I could repair my laptop install (remove IE4, reinstall NTS, re-apply SP3, re-install IE4).
While I was doing this Brian was working on this problem with the prototype motherboard. He finished shortly before I finished my installs and we headed out to see the area.
We saw the Red Rocks auditorium that overlooks Denver as well as some of the world-class rock climbing areas near where he lives, in the flatiron mountains. At lunch the Denver stations were
broadcasting petty near constant coverage of all of the happenings in Denver with the team parading through the city and various presentations, etc.
After a little more sightseeing, including the gravesite of Buffalo Bill Cody, we headed on to the airport. After another uneventful flight I was back in Vegas. On the flight over I decided
not to try to get to Corona to visit my sister that night but to wait to the next day. I had to change clothes and repack my bags and this is not easy when you don't have a hotel room. Plus
I really wanted to see the Cirque Du Soleil at Treasure Island. After checking into Treasure Island I found out that the Cirque Du Soleil does not perform on Mondays or Tuesdays. I was
bummed.
